Secret DreamScape Contract code now opensource

The team at Secret DreamScape is pleased to announce we’ve open sourced all contract code. This successfully concludes one of Secret Network’s first community dApp funding proposals. By open sourcing and verifying the contracts in Secret DreamScape you no longer need to trust us that the game delivers exactly what we promised. The game is provably fair, free, and open source. Unlike with all other blockchains, we are able to protect sensitive user data and interactions which allows us to make the game 100% on-chain. This is not possible anywhere else on the internet!

Some history about how we got involved with Secret: Our team was standing on the sidelines as the network matured from its early days. We observed the network overcome numerous growth challenges in an openly public and transparent way. It was inspiring to see such a highly functioning DAO combined with a refined blockchain technology that provides its community with data security and protection, fast blocktimes, and low transaction fees.

Privacy is critical to nearly every interaction a user takes over the internet. This need will become exponentially more crucial as metaverse experiences continue to be built and privacy laws like GDPR remain in place or as businesses begin to ask more questions about how they can capture the value of moving their web 2.0 processes to web3.

Next Steps (Enter Digiline): As we built on Secret, we recognized both its power but also some of its developer experience limitations. For that reason it’s critical we shift focus towards building new developer tools for the network. As such we are also pleased to announce our team has received grant funding from SCRT Labs to do just that! In the following weeks and months ahead, you can look forward to Secret Network becoming one of the most pleasant blockchains to develop on due to new tools not found on other chains.The tools will be built by the same core Secret DreamScape team under a new brand name, Digiline.
