Secret DreamScape Mainnet Release Notes
By Secret Dreamscape
Dear Secret DreamScape community,
We’re here with a launch day update!
To start with, we are excited to announce the sale of nearly 1,000 Secret DreamScape NFT cards (953 at the time of this writing). For a small grass-roots community game, selling a tenth of our mint in 1 week is something we’re proud of. Our community has inspired us with their enthusiasm for this project. We are humbled and grateful.
Now on to the launch day portion of this: We have successfully launched the game to mainnet on the Secret Network. It is fully featured with a deck builder, prize pool, table ranges, and loads of UX improvements and quality of life features. There are still a number of known issues we’re working on to get Secret DreamScape up to the level of quality we know gamers will expect. Here are a few of the most major:
- Performance throughout is slow
- Cached responses from the figment node are severely inconsistent
- Prize pools had a breaking bug so we had to delay the feature. For this reason there is no rake. We expect to release prize pools in the coming days.
When we launched Monday afternoon, there were severe performance issues that made the game unplayable. Thankfully, after we moved over to the Trivium node, the game became playable again.
Mint Discount Will Be Extended
Due to the issues mentioned, the prepurchase discount of the cards will continue until the game is at the quality it needs to be worthy of their full price. Every card you buy helps us keep development going so we are grateful to each and every one of you. Until this bug is fixed, no prize pool rake will be collected on completed games.
Final Thanks
We’re grateful to our community for supporting us this far as we hit milestone after milestone. For a glimpse of what is yet to come, check out our Feature Premonitions page. Please join our Discord and give us your feedback.
Sincerely,
Danny, Gino and Dan
